ABOUT
Having grown up in the New England region most of my life, much of my inspiration and fascination in drawing revolved around animals and their involvement in nature. I would draw fictional creatures, told in stories, alongside studies of frogs, lizards, and bugs, anything I could catch as a kid. My back-and-forth hobby of drawing would last throughout my teenage years, until the turning point of college.
Believing I started late in practicing drawing, I indulged myself in courses both in and out of university, doubling up on school and taking an excessive amount of classes. I studied, and continue to study, many artists, borrowing much of their knowledge and techniques to enhance my understanding of the fundamentals of drawing. My obsession and compulsion with drawing eventually led me to accidentally specialize in ink work. My work involves excessive/intricate details with the use of cross-hatching. I care about the quality of my work and seek to create many iterations/variations for the most effective design and composition. Later on, throughout my junior and senior years of college, I would specialize in environment/creature design, having spent years practicing animal studies, anatomy, and design.
As of now, I am an illustrator who uses both traditional and digital mediums. I specialize in creature and environmental design and enjoy collaborating with other artists/designers. I appreciate the quality of my work and will dedicate an extensive amount of time to refine my skills. I'm experienced in Adobe and Microsoft software and have worked in game development, including SFX, programming, level design, and concept art.
